Gabbiano flies hight with Camomilla Milano

Mantua-based Gabbiano, a specialist for 50 years in large-scale distribution and specialized retail of non-food products, enriches its offer with the purchase of 100% of Camomilla, active in women’s accessories, with the brands Camomilla Milano, ExCamoTage and Grazia Belloni’s choice.

Camomilla, founded by the Belloni family, distributes its fashion products in more than 3,000 Italian stores and is well known in Spain, Portugal and France. In this way, bags, hats, beach towels, key chains, cosmetics, costume jewelry and umbrellas are added to Gabbiano Spa’s extensive offering, which already includes parapharmaceuticals, personal care, housewares, eyewear and party supplies.

Andrea Dodi, CEO of Gabbiano spa, explains: “Our company needed an international brand to strengthen its foreign expansion through sales on international channels and online sales. Camomilla was a unique opportunity that convinced everyone, including the Belloni family, who will remain with the company”.

In 2020, Gabbiano achieved €82 million in sales with 25% growth, serving 14,500 points of sale. In 2020, it flew high by inaugurating an 11,000 square meter warehouse in the province of Cremona and launching its own Ecommerce.
